     DHB which is actually called Dihydroboldenone, also known as 1-Test Cyp, is actually not a Testosterone at all, and is more closely related to Boldenone (Equipoise) than anything else.
    It is worth noting, that although DHB is similar on paper in structure to Equipoise, it is NOTHING like Equipoise in the way it acts with the user, eg Side Effects and Results.
    If you are going to be using it within a Cycle, it CAN be used in place of Testosterone but i would say, look at it as if you are using EQ.
Would you use EQ without the use of Testosterone? So therefore my feelings on DHB are the same as they are with Equipoise. It is better used as part of a cycle that already involves the use of some form of Testosterone, no matter what form of Testosterone is chosen.
Since DHB is a longer ester, being Cypionate, then it would stand to reason that a longer Ester Test such as Enanthate or Cypionate would work well, but once again i repeat, any form of Testosterone or even Sustanon will be fine.

    Dihydroboldenone (DHB), also known as 1-testosterone (1-TEST CYP), is a 5 (5-alpha) reduced form of the steroid boldenone. In humans, the 5-reductase enzyme is known for turning testosterone into DHT. However, this process doesn't work as well with boldenone because of its very low binding affinity.

    It is a long Ester, so it is probably not going to kick in for the user in its effects until around 3 or 4 weeks into the Cycle, therefore it may be worth using a kickstarter such as Test Prop or an Oral, which can be Dianabol, Anavar, Winstrol, etc, all dependant on the goals of the individual.
    I have personally always preferred a short ester to use as a kickstart to any cycle such as Testosterone Propionate. Since Propionate is such a short ester, frequent injections will be needed to ensure the levels of test in the blood remain as stable as possible. a protocol of EOD (every other day) is the most suitable usage of Propionate although a MON/WED/FRI protocol would also work fine.

    The DHB steroid has a half-life of 6 days.

    Beginners usually take 400–500 mg of testosterone cypionate for 12-week DHB cycling. You'll give yourself testosterone cypionate three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). Again, this is for a period of 12 weeks. People who have used testosterone cypionate before can take 600 or 700 mg instead of 400 mg. Only when you combine testosterone cypionate with other anabolic steroids like     Winstrol and Human Growth Hormone would you take a smaller dose, like 200mg (HGH).
